There is nothing quite like a steady trickle of the sale of one’s artwork to spark renewed inspiration. That, and a fresh perspective on one’s surroundings.
We planted a few western redbuds and a few sycamore trees on our hillside in the early days, now twenty years ago. But it took until earlier this year for me to see their seed pods as the core of another botanical weaving. Hmmm….
“Redbuds and Sycamore” has emerged from that great unknown, from whence all creativity emerges.
